Boat Tour on Lough Derg

Only a minute walk away from the Bed and Breakfast where you stay you can already jump into the boat.

The trip starts from Killaloe over the River Shannon and then towards the powerful lake "Lough Derg".

Arriving on the lake you just don't know where to look, the beauty of the hills and the nature will take your breath.
We can decide to try to catch some Pike while boating towards Holy Island which we will visit.

Every single pike or other fish must be released to the lake as we apply the "Catch and Release" system.

Halfway along we cross a small ancient port of the Vikings with a ruin, this little port / bay gives us the opportunity to enjoy the packed lunch we carry while we can almost feel the ancient times.
Then we go further towards Holy Island, at least if a large pike didn't pull us overboard first :o)
After a short tour (1 hour), I have 2 options for the next step but that you will hear then! There must remain some surprises!

This trip is weather dependent and will therefore not be fixed for a date.

For this trip we will supply you with life jackets, rods and artificial baits.
